Joni Davis

Ms. Joni Rounette Thompson Davis, 56, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Monday, October 30, 2017, at her home. Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Joyce Marie Mack Davis and Robert Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Gail L. James.

Joni attended Gower Street Elementary School, Fuller Normal School and Eastside High School. After graduation, she enlisted in the United States Army.

She joined River of Life Outreach Ministries and attended Mt. Olive F.B.H. Church with her aunt. Joni was a good cook and loved to entertain family and friends.

Surviving: sons, Jervey Lamar Davis, Corey Robert Davis, and Kevin Malcom Davis, all of Greenville, South Carolina; sisters, Christy (Frederick) Johnson of Piedmont, South Carolina and Dakota Davis of Greenville, South Carolina; brother, Kirby Bruce Davis of Greenville, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Bethany Worley and Bralynn Washington; and a special aunt, Cleve Ann Mack of Greenville, South Carolina; and a host of other relatives and friends.
