Joseph Gatewood

Mr. Joseph “Joe” Gatewood, Sr., 92, passed on Monday, January 16, 2017, at his home. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Isaiah and Unice Jones Gatewood. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Louise Irby Gatewood.
Surviving: daughter, Mary Louise Jones of Detroit, MI; sons, Joseph (Rebecca) Gatewood, Jr. and James Gatewood, both of Greenville; eight grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
