Joshua Jackson

Mr. Joshua Pernell "Jaxk" Jackson, 31, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on April 21, 2019. He was a son of Sophia McKinney and Darren Jackson.

Joshua Pernell "Jaxk" Jackson was loved by many and respected by all,he loved his family and friends. His favorite saying when he would leave you would be, “I love you!”, and he would wait until he heard it coming back to him. No matter what cards and obstacles that life dealt him, he always remained positive and optimistic and would encourage anyone around him to be the same. Joshua, you will always be missed for the lives you have impacted and touched. God gained a true soldier. Until we meet again, “We love you!!”

He was preceded in death by a nephew, Kingston Lomax; and an aunt, Ruth Simpkins.

Surviving in addition to his parents; one brother, Gary Lomax of Greenville; one niece, Aaliyah Brooks; two nephews, Princeton Lomax of Greenville, SC; one maternal grandmother, Beatrice Scurry of Greenville; five aunts, Melissa Sherman, Lena (Frank) Floyd and April Griffin, both of Greenville, SC, Cassandra Denton and Goldie (Otis) Littlejohn, both of Knoxville, TN; one uncle, Lenon “LP” (Jennifer) Spearman of Greenville, SC; two great-aunts, Janie Suber of Greenville, SC, and Angela White (Willie) of Gastonia, NC; five great-uncles, Rory Griffin, Sammy (Angela) Griffin, William Griffin and Waddell Griffin, all of Greenville, SC. and Anthony Griffin of Gastonia, NC; one special cousin, Jasmine Floyd; special friends, Maurice Webb and P.M.B. of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
