Ms. Joyce "Peaches" Hawkins

Ms. Joyce “Peaches” Gibson Hawkins, 66, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Simpsonville Post Acute. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Thaddaus Gibson, Sr., and Mae Frances Brown Gibson.

Surviving: two sons, Jamar Gibson, and Cedric (Tasha) Gibson, both of Greenville, SC; three sisters, Chrystal Gibson, Dawn (Jab) Burns, both of Greenville, SC; and Gwendolyn Pfister, of Chicago, IL; one brother, Thaddaus Gibson, Jr., of Piedmont, SC; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services: Thursday, October 10, 2024, 12:00pm, at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment private.
