Mrs. Lena Mae Acker, 70, of Greenville, departed this life on Sunday, May 28, 2017, at her residence. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late James and Dorabelle Whatley Baker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Charles Acker, Sr.; a son, James Charles Acker, Jr. and sisters, May Jane Baker, Duke Baker, Jonelle Baker and Jeanette Baker.
Left to cherish many fond memories are two daughters, Cindy Acker (Rigoberto) Munoz and Loretta L. Arnold, both of Greenville; one sister, Joyce Baker of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Lena J. Acker, Ricki Shaw, Rikisha Shaw, Kia Shaw, Eric Jennings, David Acker and Jessica Arnold; seven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
