Mrs. Lena Mae Young Smith, 90, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Agape Hospice in Landrum, South Carolina. She was a daughter of the late John Young and Gazella Briggs Young. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Smith was married to the late Tolden Lee Smith, Sr. for 20 years before his passing.
Surviving: two daughters, Shawn Smith of the home and Jasiliki (Kenny) Davidson of Columbus, OH; five sons, Claude R. (Tonya) Knowles of Atlanta, GA, Dwight Knowles of Belton, SC, Tolden Lee (Jackie) Smith, Jr., of Simpsonville, SC; Leon Smith of the home and Adrian Smith of Charlotte, NC; seventeen grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services: Friday, November 18, 2022, 9:30am, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
