Mrs. Leontine Butler Ivery, 89, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Walter Pettigru and Effie Elizabeth Johnson Butler. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Ivery was married to the late James Ivery, Jr.
Surviving: four sons, James Ivery, III (Diane Gaines), Gregory (Darlena) Ivery, Kenneth Ivery and Reginald “Reggie” Ivery, all of Greenville, SC; two daughters, Jennifer Ivery and Sandra (Fritz) Florence, both of Greenville, SC; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other close relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, December 4, 2022, 2:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
