Mr. Leroy Waters, 70, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Friday, January 4, 2019, at Greenville Health System. He was born on April 12, 1948, a son of the late Governor Hampton and Maggie Lee Chiles. Leroy was adopted as an infant by the late Sam and Sarah Waters.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are a brother, Pastor William H. (Lydia) Hampton of Taylors, SC; a friend, Jewel French of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
