Ms. Lesa Mechelle Means Jones, 48, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Hospital. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, she was a daughter of Moses Means, Jr., and Naomi Joiner Means.
Lesa was a 1986 graduate of J.L. Mann High School and attended Greenville Technical College. She was employed by the Greenville County School System and Greenville County Disabilities. She was a member of the Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the Young Adult Choir.
Surviving: her mother, Naomi J. Means of Greenville; father, Moses (Gerri) Means, Jr., of Mauldin; fiancé, James Salters of Duncan; father of her children, Kirby Jones of Piedmont; a daughter, Nakya Jones of Piedmont; three sons, Quintyrus Jones of Greenville, Tyquon Anderson of Greenville and Kirby Jones, Jr., of Piedmont; two sisters, Tammy Mosely of Simpsonville and Stefanie (Anthony) Smith of Simpsonville; one brother, Justin Scott of Mauldin; one grandchild, Zaccheus Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.
