Mrs. Lillie Mae Irby, 77, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, passed on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at her residence. Born in Laurens County, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Luther Rodgers, Sr., and Lillie Bell Henderson Rodgers. She was the widow of the late Henry Wade Irby, Sr. for 30 years.
Surviving: one daughter, Lillie Marie (James, Sr.) Billups of Simpsonville, SC; three sons; Ricky Irby (Shirlonda Evans), Billy (Blanca) Irby all of Simpsonville, SC, William (Melissa) Irby of Easley, SC; one sister, Ethel Carolyn Hunt of Columbia, SC; one brother, Luther Rodgers, Jr. of Norfolk, VA; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Sunday, March 13, 2022, 3:00pm at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
