Lindsey Blake

Mr. Lindsey Blake, 84, of 129 Blake Drive, Easley, South Carolina, departed this life on March 29, 2018, at Brookdale of Easley. He was a son of the late Eugene Blake and Pearlie Beatrice Blake Young. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Lindsey was employed at Platt Saco Lowell in Easley for many years. He was a faithful member of Easley Union Missionary Baptist Church until his health failed. He loved reading the Bible and attending Bible Study.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Blake; two sisters, Rosa Lee Robinson and Jennie B. Sloan; and two brothers, J.B. Blake and Furman Blake.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are four sons, Linus Blake of Greenville, Bradley Blake of the home, his twin, Bradford (Ellen) Blake, of Easley, and Christopher Blake of Zurich, Switzerland; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
