Lona Griffin

Reverend Lona Mae Griffin, 92, of 315 Athens Street, Travelers Rest, South Carolina, transitioned to go to her Heavenly home on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at Heartland Healthcare. She was the daughter of the late John Henry and Lona Mae Looper Gordon.

She was a faithful member of the Mount Sinai Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wilton Griffin; and a daughter, Alberta Griffin.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories is a daughter, Belinda Griffin of Greenville; eight grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
