Lonnie Glenn

Mr. Lonnie Darnell Glenn, 62, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Palmetto Health in Columbia. He was a son of the late Cornell Glenn and Essie Mae Griffin Glenn.


He was employed at J.P. Stevens in the warehouse for ten years, then worked at Emitec and Sunland Distribution as a forklift driver after which he was a prep cook for Open Hearth Steakhouse until his retirement in 2017.


He was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church.


Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Connell Glenn, Jr., Richard Glenn, Wilton Glenn and Russell Glenn.


Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are his wife, Teresa Mack Glenn of the home; three daughters, Sonya L. (Leon) Hunt of Simpsonville, Conya L. Mack of Augusta, GA, and Kizzy K. Wakefield (Michael) Hagood of Greenville; one sister, Imogene Mansell (Jerry) Neubia of Greenville; one brother, Odell Glenn of Greenville; four grandchildren, Xavier Wakefield, Daiquan Hunt, Antonio Wakefield and Dante Hunt; four great-grand-children; an aunt, Betsy Watts of Greenville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
