Lorina McKinney

.Ms. Lorina McKinney, 75, of Greenville, South Carolina,departed this life on Sunday, August 18, 2019, at Prisma Health Upstate. She was a daughter of the late Moses and Delia Smith McKinney, Sr.

She attended Washington High School and retired from Gregory’s Cleaners. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Ann Stephens; two sisters, Carolyn P. McKinney and Alma Jean McKinney; and one brother, John Phillip McKinney.

Left to cherish many fond memories are one daughter, Tina McKinney (George Young) of Greenville; two sons, John Phillip McKinney and Johnnie Lee Stephens, Jr., both of Greenville; a special friend, Charles Robert Barton of the home; a niece reared in the home, Vanessa L. McKinney of Greenville; a nephew raised in the home, Je’von McKinney of Greenville; three sisters, Janie White of Greenville, Joann Wise of Prosperity and Doris McKinney of Greenville; six brothers, Clarence (Robbie) Davis, Moses (Min. Florie) McKinney, Jr., Charles (Shirley) McKinney, Sr., Joseph McKinney, William (Carolyn) McKinney and Willie McKinney, all of Greenville; a god daughter, Angela Fuller of Greenville; a special niece and nephew, Cynthia Darlene McKinney and Charles B. McKinney; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
