Lornell Bennett

Mr. Lornell “Pete” Bennett, Sr., 83, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Monday, December 9, 2019, at his residence. He was a son of the late Ernest, Sr. and Estelle Davis Bennett.

He was a high school graduate and worked in construction. He participated in the Mason Pride Sterling Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pricilla Dillard Bennett; a son, Gregory Bennett; a daughter, Alma Moody; and two brothers, Ernest Bennett and David Bennett.

Left with many cherished memories are one daughter, Venus Bennett of the home; one son, Lornell (Deborah) Bennett, Jr., of Anderson, SC; one brother, Melvin Bennett, Sr., of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren, Lindsey Moody, Paige Bennett, Qui’itra Philson and Brandon Lee Sires; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
