Louise Lee

The matriarch of the family, Louise Lee transitioned peacefully from her earthly home to her Heavenly home on January 2, 2019. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregiver during the last days of her life. Louise was born in Greenville, South Carolina, to the late Will and Lois Gray Lee.

She attended Greenville County Schools, and was employed by Ideal Laundry, Poinsett Hotel, Parker High School and Gene’s Restaurant. She attended Victory Temple Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Ivery “Yoyo” Lee.

Left to cherish many fond memories are her son, Wallace Lee of the home; three daughters, Mandy Lee and Linda Lee of the home and Roberta Lee of Greenville, SC; an adopted son, James Blakely; a goddaughter, Judy Brown; two nieces, Donna (Donald) Scott and Karen Edwards; one great-niece, Sedonia Scott; ten grandchildren, Quincenia (Stanley) Foggie, Reginald Lee, Kendria Lee, Randy (Lakitha) Lee, Shakedra (Corey) Mcgee, Lucy Lee, Aaron (Quatina) Lee, George Greggs, Chavis Latimer, god-grandchildren, Annette, Tyquan, Wanda, Shamika Treva, Diane, Diashun, Sand, Teadra; twenty-five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
