Mae Catherine Robinson

Mrs. Mae Catherine Rabb Robinson of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, South Carolina. She was born on November 5, 1916, in Greenville County to the late Mr. Eddie Rabb and Mrs. Carrie Watkins Rabb.

At an early age, she joined Macedonia FBH Church where she was saved, sanctified, baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. She was very active in the church and served in various positions in the church: President of the Senior Usher Board, member of the Senior Choir, member of the  Mother Board and a member of the Senior Missionary Board.

She married Mr. Johnnie V. Robinson and in this union, they had four children; a daughter and three sons.  She was a faithful wife, a loving mother and a dedicated homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Johnnie V. Robinson; her daughter, Ms. Evelyn Delores Robinson Hood; brothers, Mr. Eddie Rabb, Mr. Manus Rabb and  Mr. Thomas C. Wood; sisters, Mrs. Ella Louise Rabb Moore, Mrs. Annie Bell Rabb Latimore, Mrs. Julia Mae Rabb Brown, and Mrs. Carrie Rabb Jones.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are three sons, Mr. Harold L. Robinson, Mr. Daniel Robinson, and Mr. Manuel Robinson all of Greenville, SC; one brother, Bishop Willie N. Rabb of Greenville, SC; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
