Mrs. Mamie W. Bibbs, 96, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Henry T. and Dona Parks Wood. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Bibbs was married to the late Benjamin F. Bibbs for 40 years.
Surviving: two daughters, Mrs. Barbara B. (Thomas) Gibbs and Mrs. Diane Miller both of Greenville, SC; one son, Dennis Bibbs of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
*The family will be receiving friends at her daughter’s home (Barbara Gibbs) 916 Anderson Road, Greenville, SC 29601.
Funeral Services: Friday, December 23, 2022, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
