Mamie Chiles

Mrs. Mamie D. Chiles, 73, of 2 Ledford Drive, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at her home. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Cornealus Chappell and Henry M. Sweeney Sr. She was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Henry Dean.

Surviving: former husband, Charles A. Chiles of Greenville; sons, Alverez Chiles, Sr. and Charles Chiles, Jr., both of the home; sister, Elizabeth Sweeney Knox of Simpsonville; brothers, Henry M. (Sylvia) Sweeney Jr., Clarence U. (Lessie) Sweeney, and Charles M. Sweeney, all of Simpsonville; grandson, Alverez Smith Chiles, II of Greenville, granddaughter, Tatiyana Chiles of California; great-grandson, Alverez Smith Chiles, III of Greenville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, February 24, 2015, 3:00 PM at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary.
