Marcus Shumpert

Mr. Marcus K. Shumpert, 66, of 609 Old Rutherford Road, Taylors passed away on Monday July 20, 2015 at home. Born in Taylors, he was the son of the late Robert and Beatrice Bowens Shumpert.

Surviving: a devoted wife, Charlene Greer Shumpert of the home; daughters, Jeanna (David) Ellis of Auburn, GA and Kiersten (Aaron) Tobin of Taylors; son, Marcus Greer Shumpert of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Latese Williams of Groton, CT, Beth Kinley of Teaneck, NJ, and Brenda Gibson of Irvington, NJ; brothers, Sanford Shumpert of Los Angeles, CA, Royce Shumpert of Englewood, NJ, and Randy Shumpert of North Plainfield, NJ; three grandchildren, Jaeyana Shumpert, Athena Tobin, and Madison Ellis; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service: Saturday, July 25, 2015, 12:00 Noon at St. Mark United Methodist Church, 911 St Mark Road, Taylors, with burial in church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 am - 12:00 Noon.
