Mrs. Margaret Louise Mansell Williams, 79, of Easley, South Carolina, departed this life on Monday, April 30, 2018, at her home. She was a daughter of the late Willie Frank Mansell, Sr., and Ethel Mae Collins Mansell.
She was a graduate of Clearview High School, Class of 1956 and was a retiree of Quilt Gallery in 2001. She also worked for many years at Swirl in Easley. She previously served as a deaconess at Easley Union Missionary Baptist Church for many years and was a member if the AfroMac Club and Widows of Easley Union. Later she became a member of One Church Easley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Franklin Williams; a son, Keith Lamar Williams; three brothers, Clarence Mansell, Sr., James E. Mansell and Willie Frank Mansell, Jr.; and three sisters, Ruby Nell Byrd, Annie Ruth Austin and Sarah Jean Anderson.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are a daughter, Rasheda Williams of Easley; two sons, Charles A. (Sharon) Williams of Anderson and Brett W. (Mary) Williams of Easley; two sisters, Jo Ann Ashmore and Veronica Winston, both of Easley; nine grandchildren, Zakiya, Hashim, Brandon, Markel, Ahmad, Aniya, Javon, Asyria and Jayden; five step grandchildren, Keisha, Shay, Quintez, Rosalee and Katrina; a daughter-in-law, Nita Williams of Greenville; and a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
