Mrs. Margie Foster Howard, formerly of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, in Denver, Colorado, where she had resided for many years. She was a daughter of the late Van and Geneva Foster and was reared by the late George and Ethel Wilson.
She was a graduate of Sterling High School and attended South Carolina State College. She was a faithful member of St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church where she organized the Women’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Louise Thomas; and three brothers, Van Foster, Allen Foster and Benny Williams.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are two daughters, Gloria Howard of Los Angeles, CA, and Carmen (John) Rizzardi of Seattle, WA; four sons, J. Albert (Margo) Howard, Jr., of San Jose, CA, Van Michael (Rosean) and Martin Deporres Howard, both of Denver, CO, and Peter Howard of American Canyon, CA.; a brother, Steve Wilson of St. Petersburg, FL; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a special niece, Stella Foster Jackson of Greenville, who assisted as a caregiver; and a host of other relatives and friends.
