Marilyn M. Scott Bunkley

Mrs. Marilyn M. Bunkley, 62, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017, in Greenville. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of Edgar Scott, Sr., and the late Willie Mae O’Neal.

She was a graduate of Wade Hampton High School; and a former employee of Fabri-Kal. She was affiliated with numerous churches and a member of the gospel group, Seven, sponsor of Entrepreneur Women’s Retreat, Outreach Ministry and Promoter of the Gospel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Bunkley; brother, Edgar Scott, Jr.; stepfather, Henry Lee O'Neal; stepsister, Deborah Lewis; grandmother, Ora Bell Dixon; grandfather, James Dixon and an uncle, Willie B. Dixon,

Left to cherish many fond memories: her father, Edgar (Alice) Scott, Sr.; her daughters, April (Donald) Harris, Alicia (Perry) Hill, Shaunsay Bunkley, and Shaniqua Bunkley, all of Greenville; stepdaughter, Elizabeth (Jamal) Adair; sisters, Ogretta Pitts, Melvina Scott, and Mary (Charles) Young, all of Greenville; stepbrother, Larry Scott; aunt, Christine Dixon of Greenville; fourteen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
