Mrs. Marilyn Louise “Merl” Mintess, 74, Taylors, South Carolina passed away at Greenville Health System on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Born in Harrisburg,Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Alphonso and Marguerite Bailey Leftridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mintess.
Left to cherish many fond memories are her sons, Shawn Patrick Woodruff of Phoenix, AZ, Charles Walter Woodruff of Silver Springs, MD, and Kenneth Brett Woodruff of Harrisburg, PA; sisters, Elizabeth Edgerton of Harrisburg, PA, Barbara (Melvin) Wilson of Columbia, MD, Theresa (Homer) Brooks of Sicklerville, NJ, Christina (Michael) Davis of Taylors, and Rita Leftridge of Charlotte, NC; brother, Douglas (Germaine) Leftridge of Columbia, MD; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mintess.
