Mr. Marion “Frisco” Waddell Allen, 87, of Matthews, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Novant Mint Hill Medical Center in Matthews, North Carolina. Born in McCormick, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Robert E. and Janie Galloway Allen.
Mr. Allen was the husband of Joann Ellis Allen for 56 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Julie (Floyd) Clement of Asheville, NC and Sharon (Gil) Wrice of Matthews, NC; two sons, Bobby Jemerson of Asheville, NC and Rodney Jemerson of Concord, NC; a host of grandchildren, great-grands, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, August 27, 2023, 2:00pm, at Mountain View Baptist Church, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
