Marion Keller

January 9, 1971 — May 17, 2020

Mr. Marion “JuJu” Keller, Jr., 49, of Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Sunday, May 17, 2020, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. He was the son of Marion Keller, Sr., and the late Irma Jean Curry Keller.

He graduated from Greenville High School and attended Rutledge College and Spartanburg Technical College. He was employed at Flour Daniel, Freightliner, Spartanburg Regional Hospital and substitute teacher for Spartanburg County Schools.

He was a affiliated with State Line and Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Auxiliaries included Pilgrim Rest Church Choir, Drummer for the Youth, Drummer for Greenville Senior High School and Coach for Greenville County Softball.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tom and Georgia Keller; maternal grandparents, Willie and Lela Mae Curry; and three uncles, Alphonso Keller, Curtis Keller, Sr. and Willie Curry, Jr.

Surviving: three sons, Marion Nichols Keller, Jalen Knight Keller and Gabriel Aaron Keller, all of Chesnee, SC; one sister, Betty J. Keller Golden of Greenville, SC; five aunts, Thomasenia Green, Sarah Hughes and Georgia Mae Kimpson, all of Orangeburg, SC, and Rudene Bonnette and Ruth Ann Bonnette, both of St. Matthews, SC; three uncles, Frank (Rebecca) Keller and Coy Keller, both of St. Matthews, SC, and David (Diane) Keller of Greenville, SC; a play brother, Chris Harvey of Greenville, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
