Marjorie Santana was born April 13, 1942, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She was a daughter of the late Jake Hinton and Claire Ciphin Hinton.
She loved her family and she is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Felix Santana of Mauldin, SC; she was a loving mother to four wonderful children, Robin E. Carter, Cassandra S. Tobey, Stacey A. Perkins and Abdul-Malik Muhammed.
She also was grandmother to 15 grandchildren: Danielle L Jackson, Thomas A. Carter III, Noele G. Carter, Tiffany L. Bailey, Ronda R. Collins, Christopher J. Richards, Joi F. Perkins, Shanay Holiday, Shantell McLeod, Amber McLeod, Malikah Irving, Aliyah McLeod, Zakiyah McLeod, Ibn Muhammed and Mujahid Muhammed.
She was great-grandmother of 16 wonderful children Elijah, Savion, Jocelyn, Daniel, Melanie, Donoven, E’mony, Ty’liyah, Lelani, Nakai, Naomi, Autumn, Hassan, Kaiden, Cayson and Syncir.
Marjorie loved good food and socializing with friends and family. She enjoyed movies and traveling with her husband and friends. Her laugh and her smile would light up a room. Her generosity and hospitality gave evidence that she cared about everyone. Her love for Jehovah always caused her to see the good in everyone and moved her to help and assist. She was a member of the South Simpsonville congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
