Mrs. Martha Ann Gowens, 66, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Prisma Health. She was the daughter of the late Ira Rhone and Lydia Blythe Jones.
She was married to Walter Gowens for 45 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Abony (Rodger) Elledge and Ashley Gowens, both of Greenville, SC; one sister, Lorrain (Sunday) Nwonkwo of Greenville, SC; six brothers, Ira Rhone, Julius (Jeanette) Rhone and Jamie Jones, all of Greenville, SC, Stanley (Beth) Rhone of Taylors, SC, Eric Jones of Mauldin, SC and Anthony (Wanda) Rhone of Simpsonville, SC; two grandchildren, Chyna Elledge and Yazmine Elledge; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, June 17, 2023, 2:00pm at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
