Mary Alice Johnson

June 30, 1931 — June 25, 2019

Mrs. Mary Alice Johnson was born on June 30, 1931, in Abbeville, South Carolina. She was the only child of the late Daisy Reed Madison-Croft. She entered into eternal rest on June 25, 2019.

She was a long time employee at National Linen Service in Greenville, South Carolina. She was a faithful and loyal member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, for over 40 years. She was a participant in the Senior Choir, Gospel Chorus, and her favorite the Garrison Singers and was a Sunday School Teacher.

Mary Alice loved to sing and praise our most Holy Father and she lived her life the way He instructed us to live. She loved without prejudice or judgement and was the world’s best prayer partner.

She was a loving and devoted wife to the late T.C. “Top Cat” Johnson for over 60 years.

Left to cherish precious memories are a daughter, Gloria Johnson of Warner Robins, GA; three sons, Bobby (Joyce) Johnson, Claude Richey Johnson (Dean Aquilina) and Ronnie (Catherine) Collier, all of Greenville, SC; special friends, Elizabeth Jarrett and family of Greenville, SC; and a host of grand-children, great-grandchildren, the family pet, Romeo, other relatives and friends.
