Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Downs, 82, of Simpsonville, South Carolina passed on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Greenville, South Carolina, to the late Samuel David, Sr. and Lillie Mae Boyd Jenkins. She was the wife of 50 years to the late John Downs.
Surviving: one son, Donald Lee Jenkins of Simpsonville, SC; one sister, Lula Jenkins of Greenville, SC; one granddaughter, Kimberly Gregg; three great-grandchildren, Jayshion Tucker, Nariyah Calhoun and Saniyah Calhoun; great niece raised in the home Kayla Jenkins; a host on nieces, nephew and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Sunday, September 25, 2022, 1:00pm at Valley Brook Outreach Baptist Church with interment in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
