Mary Grant

Mrs. Mary I. Grant, 87, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Saturday December 8, 2018, at Magnolia Manor of Greenville. She was the daughter of the late Myra Baker and Arthur Franklin Schoonmaker.

She was a high school graduate and later majored in child development. She was the owner/operator of Dove Cleaning Service. She was a member of Redemption/Relentless Church where she worked as an Altar Minister.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, John Henry Grant; a daughter, Diane Cobb; a son, Donald Cobb; and a sister, Vernese Drake.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are a daughter, Cassandra Cobb of Greenville, SC; two stepdaughters, Cathy Cox of Bronx, NY and Fredrica Codrington of Philadelphia, PA; a son, Washington (Rosa) Cobb of Greer, SC; two stepsons, Sydney Grant of Bronx, NY and John Grant, Jr., of North Carolina; six grandchildren, Charles Hutton, Darren Cobb, Jared Hutton, Shawn Hutton, Douglas (Angela) Cobb, Ayanna (Lucious)Anderson; twenty-eight great-grand-children, and a host of great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
