Mary Hagood

Ms. Mary Jane Hagood, 69, of 101 Wallace Drive, Easley, South Carolina, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Magnolia Manor of Greenville. She was a daughter of the late James Henry and Bertha Lee Robinson Hagood.

She was a graduate of Spearman High School and worked previously at Piedmont Industries as a shirt maker and Bi-lo Deli and Bakery Departments, along with Ingles and Walmart.

She was a member of the New Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, where she served as a Matron, a Missionary department member and on the Usher Board.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Betty Sue Alexander and Sharon Hagood; four brothers, Rayfus, Henry, Larry and Charles Hagood.


Left to treasure many fond and loving memories are two daughters, Mary Luciana Hagood and Ashley Nate’ Hagood, both of Easley; seven sisters, Dorothy Elizabeth (Walter Sr.) Blassingame of Easley, Clarene Hagood and Patricia Ann Hagood, both of Liberty, Doris Lee Hagood, Mamie Jean Henderson, Frances Carolyn Hagood and Kathey Hagood (Charles) Madison, all of Greenville; two brothers, James Earl Hagood of Piedmont and Donald Lewis (Peggy) Hagood of Easley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
