Ms. Mary S. Jeter, 75, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022, in Sugar Hill, Georgia, at the home of her youngest daughter, Lisa Jeter Sutton, and in the care of her loved ones.
She was a daughter of the late William Buster Sullivan and Rena Lois Wallace Davis. Preceding her in death was her husband, the late Clayton Jeter, III.
Surviving: two daughters, Lisa Jeter Sutton, of Sugar Hill, GA and LaSaundra Jeter Caldwell, of Alpharetta, GA; one son, Anthony (Tameca) Jeter; of Mauldin SC; three sisters, Irish (Edgar) Mayes of Greenville, SC, Oneita (Gregory) Williams of Charlotte, NC and Jane Davis of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Roston Sullivan of Atlanta, GA and Oscar O. Davis of Charlotte, NC; four sisters in law, Carol Jeter Martin of Simpsonville, SC, Anna Jeter Ware of Gadsden, AL, Faye Jeter Neysmith of Villa Rica, GA and Sandra (Harold) Jeter Chapman of Simpsonville, SC; seven grandchildren, Shayla Gilliam, Brittney Kerns, Christian Sutton, Fureous Caldwell, Imani Jeter, Chandler Caldwell and Milan Jeter; two great-grandchildren, Bentley Jeter Clark and Tylann Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, November 22, 2022, 1:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Graceland East Memorial Park.
