Mrs. Mary A. Jones, 86, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Prisma Health, Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Bennie and Sue Pearl Beeks Johnson. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Jones was the wife of the late Hosea Jones (United States Air Forces).
Surviving: one daughter, Beverly Jones of Greenville, SC; four sons, Demetrius (Jean) Jones of Milbrook, AL, Derald (JayWanda) Jones of Elizabethtown, KY, Gerald (Sharron) Jones of Charlotte, NC and Christopher Garrett of Greenville, SC; one grandson raised in the home, Justin (Katie) Jones; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. The family is at 8 Blue Slate Court, Greenville, S.C.
