Mother Mary Lee Prince Williams went home to be with the Lord on April 23, 2024, widow of the late Walter Lee Williams. She was born in Greenville County to the late James "Jim" and Myrtle Frazier Prince, was raised by her paternal grandmother, the late Mrs. Mary Prince Wilson.
She leaves to cherish fond memories: two daughters, Sybil Williams of Atlanta, GA and Sharon Workman of Greenville; one son, James (Deborah) Williams, Sr., of Atlanta, GA; one stepdaughter, Min. Linda Williams of Brooklyn, NY; two bonus daughters, Elder Joann Lattimore and Ms. Rachel Dunlap; a grandson raised in the home, Marcus (Porsche) Williams of Atlanta, GA; 12 grandchildren, Danessa Williams, Derek Williams, James Williams, Jr., Pastor Chiquila (Pastor Amos, III) Valentine, Roderick (Latrice) Henderson, Tenichia Williams, Dekiyas Workman, Sr., Phillip (Jernika) Suber, Tiffany Holton, Nicole Allen, Princess Wideman and Darlesha Williams; two sisters-in-law, Betty Haynes and Joyce Thomas, both of Atlanta, GA; 28 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and adopted children and family.
Funeral Service: Sunday, April 28, 2024, 1:00pm at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
