Mrs. Mary Ann McGowens, 82, of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023. She was a daughter of the late James O. and Helen Burgess Blassingame. She was married to the late Willie R. McGowens.
Surviving: four daughters, Pamela (Anthony) Brandon of Charlotte, NC, Jennifer McGowens and Mae Hellen Cox, both of Travelers Rest, SC, and Stephanie (Undrá) Durrah of Lawrenceville, GA; three sons, Timothy McGowens of Jacksonville, FL, Min. William D. McGowens of Columbia, SC and John McGowens of Travelers Rest, SC; one sister, Carolyn Blassingame of Bronx, NY; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.
Visitation: Saturday, July 22, 2023, 12:00pm, - 1:00pm, at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.
Funeral Services: Saturday, July 22, 2023, 1:00pm, at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, with interment in Mountain View Memorial Park, Travelers Rest SC.
