.Mr. Matthew Maurice “Keshun” Phelps, 34, of Greenville, South Carolina, was born in Greenville County on May 29, 1984, and departed this life on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at his home. He attended Hillcrest High School.
“Keshun” was preceded in death by a brother, John Kelly, and a sister, Elizabeth Koury.
He is survived by his parents, John Harper of Greenville, and Viola Phelps (James) Koury of Simpsonville; one daughter, Keayona Phelps of Lyman; three sons, Keyshun Phelps and Macari Phelps, both of Simpsonville, and Jamel Phelps of Fountain Inn; two brothers, Mickey Phelps and John Phelps ,both of Simpsonville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
