Ms. Mattie Faye Sloan passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014 in Byrumville, Georgia. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Pearl Thompson Sloan. She was preceded in death by a devoted friend, Douglass Perry.

Surviving: sons; Melvin (Sametra) Sloan and Kelvin Sloan: sisters; Phyllis Beeks, Marilyn Gamble, Vanessa (Durell) Freeman, Pearlie Sloan, Roberta Sloan, Cheryl (Lonnie) Massey, Wanda Sloan: brothers; Marion (Pamela) Sloan, Jr., Stanley Sloan, Barry Sloan, Rodney (Hope) Sloan, Stephen Fuller, Marcus Fuller, Maurice Fuller: three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service: Saturday, December 6, 2014, 1:00 PM at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
