Mrs. Mazie Lee Bennett, 77, of 18 Freestone Street, passed on Wednesday, March 24 2016, at Vitas Hospice Care. Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Bill and Janie Lloyd Brooks Neely.
Surviving: daughter, Jaimel Bennett (Reginald) Lee of El Paso, TX; sons, James Michael (Brenda A.) Bennett of Belton, Elridge Bennett of Lawrenceville, GA, J. B. (Karen) Moore of Lithonia, GA, and Jairon (Mary) Bennett of San Diego, CA; sisters, Johnnie M. Brooks of Greenville, Geraldine McDaniel of Baltimore, MD, Carol Neely of Taylors, Melvena Lewis of Greenville; brothers, Marvin Neely of Greenville and Johnny Neely of Baltimore, MD; fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
