Melvin Shell

Mr. Melvin Shell, 92, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at McCall Hospice House. He was a son of the late Chris Owens and Janice Shell.
He attended Fountain Inn Public Schools and was employed at Leroy Breazeale Construction. He was a member of Reedy River Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Shell; two daughters, Dorothy Langston and Brenda Shell; a son, Melvin Shell, Jr.; a grandson, Jerome Gambrell.; and granddaughter, Tara Shell.
Left to cherish many fond memories are six daughters, Phyllis (Michael) Choice, Elizabeth (Calvin) Gambrell, Sally Shell, Audrey Shell, Lisa Shell and Tammy Shell, all of Greenville, SC; three sons, Danny Shell, Arthur Shell and James (Shawn) Shell, all of Greenville, SC; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Our Father, which art in Heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil;for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, Amen.
