Mr. Michael Blassingame, 53, of 3 Arturo Road, Piedmont passed away on Wednesday August 26, 2015 at his home. Born in Mount Vernon, NY, he was the son of the late James and Coletha Wortham Blassingame.
Surviving: a loving wife, Charlena Blassingame of the home, daughters, LaVanda M. Elrod of Simpsonville, Felisha Blassingame of Piedmont, and Latasha Blassingame of Simpsonville; sisters, Martha Ann Woods of Greenville, Wakeena Blassingame of Greenville, and Rebecca Shell Ross of New Jersey; brothers, Alvin Blassingame of New York, Richard Shell of Columbia, Gregory Blassingame of Mauldin, Cary Blassingame of Greenville, Charles Blassingame of Greenville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, September 2, 2015, 3:00 PM at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary with burial in Pinedale Memorial Park.
