Mrs. Mildred “Sister” Glenn, 78, departed this life on Thursday, January 5, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital System. Born in Anderson, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Ruth McCray Elrod, Sr. She was a member of Sweet Canaan Baptist Church
She was preceded in death by a son, Theodore Preston Poole, Jr., and sisters, Betty Owens, Connie McCarroll, and Linda Dean.
Left to cherish many fond memories are her husband, Joe Glenn of the home; daughters, Brenda (Allen) Wilson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Donna Davis of Greenville; son, Pastor Anthony (Prophetess Shuntzie) Poole of Taylors; stepdaughter, Janice Stevenson of Baltimore, MD; brothers, Leroy (Mildred) Elrod, Jr., and Jeff (Yvette) Elrod, both of Easley; one grandchild, Ashley (Elbert) McClary of Greenville, one great-grand child, Kamden McClary of Greenville and a host of other relatives and friends.
