Mildred Ledbetter

Mrs. Mildred Moorehead “Coot” Ledbetter, 85, of Easley, South Carolina passed on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Greenville Health System. Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Idozer Carpenter and Odell and Ruth MooreheadJudge.
“Coot” was a retiree of Liberty-Woodside Mill. She was a member of Easley Union Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Ledbetter, Sr.; sons, Melvin Ledbetter, Jr. and Ted Ledbetter; grandson, Gary D. Breazeale, Jr. and sister, Emma Lee Brownlee.
Surviving: daughters, Ann Foster of Easley and India (Gary) Breazeale of Augusta, GA; son, Israel A. “Zan” (Victoria) Ledbetter of Easley; one daughter-in-law, Lorene Ledbetter; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
