Milton Parks

Mr. Milton Leonard Parks, born on May 21, 1952, passed peacefully from this life to live with the Lord on Saturday, October 22, 2017. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Mr. Minus Parks and the late Christine Pickett Parks.

“Leonard”, as his family and friends called him, attended the public schools of Greenville County and graduated from Washington High School. He retired from Siroflex, Inc. in 2012.

Leonard was a fun-loving, charismatic, carefree person. People loved being around him. He never met a stranger and was especially devoted to his family. He most enjoyed making people laugh and looking at the brighter side of life.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, his loving wife of 47 years, Mrs. Shirley Jeanette Parks, of Taylors, SC; two sons, Trenton (Tracey) of Naperville, IL, and Milton Landreaux of Taylors, SC; four grandchildren; Saniya, Savion, Landraya, and Khylan Parks; three sisters, Eutrulia (Johnny) Tubbs, Romania Downs, both of Greenville, SC and Karen C. Parks of Manhattan, New York City; and a host of other relatives and friends.
