Milton Thomas Chappell

Mr. Milton Thomas McDuffie “Max” Chappell, IV, 39, of Greer, South Carolina, passed on Friday, October 18, 2019, at Prisma Health Upstate.

He was a graduate of Riverside High School and earned an Associates Degree from Greenville Technical College. He also attended Tri-county Technical College. He worked as a Chef, Bartender at various establishments, such as: Carrabas, Firebirds, Copper River, Yardhouse and Sparetime.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Louise Spears, his paternal grandparents Milton and Pearline Chappell; uncle, Williams Makins; and an aunt, Joan Sweeny-Todd.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are his parents, Milton T. McDuffie Chappell, III and Sharon J. Makins Chappell, of Greer; one sister, Ravelo (Charles) Jant of Greer; two aunts, Janice (Steven) Merritt and Sharon Bell, both of Greenville; three uncles, J.D. Spears (LaDonna) of Simpsonville, Barry Chappelle of Greenville and Michael Chappell of West Virginia; a great-aunt, Janie Johnson of Baltimore, MD; his godmother, Gail Oliver Griffin of Greenville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
