Minister Eddie “Poochie” Talley, Jr., 56, of 106 Sequioa Court, Easley, South Carolina, departed this life on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. He was a son of Margie Talley Holcombe and the late Eddie Talley, Sr.
He was a member of New Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and a graduate of Martin Webb Learning Center. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a former National Guardsman.
He was preceded in death by his father; his grandmother, Estelle Robinson; two brothers, Toney Talley and Franklin Turman; and an uncle, Wilson Turman.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are his loving wife, Patricia A. Jeter Talley of the home; his mother, Margie Talley (Collis) Holcombe of Easley, SC; two daughters, Patrice Talley and Jessica (Michael) Cooper, both of Easley, SC; one son, Christopher (Marcela) Talley of Alaska; four sisters, Linda Rogers of Easley, SC, Jeannette Valentine of Welborn, SC, Drusilla (Patrick) Williams of Atlanta, GA, and Sheila Talley of Easley, SC; three brothers, George Turmon of Atlanta, GA, James Turmon of Williamston, SC, and Angelo (Marlena) Talley of Piedmont, SC; four grandchildren, Jaliyah Cooper, Julian Cooper, Mikayah Talley and Christian Talley; a godson, Jaedyn Rule; and a host of other relatives and friends.
