Minister Katie Mae Ware, 74, of Piedmont, South Carolina, transitioned to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Greenville Health System. She was a daughter of the late John Willie Carter and Frances Jackson Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Elijah John Ware, Jr., and her stepfather, Jack Sullivan
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are two daughters, Sylvia Ann (Michael) Henderson and Christine Ware, both of Piedmont; five sons, Eddie (Pamela) Sullivan, Jonathan Ware, Stanley Ware and Jason Ware, all of Greenville and Johnny (Elaine) Ware of Piedmont; two sisters, Doris (Anthony) Smith of Piedmont and Lugenia Sullivan of Fountain Inn; three brothers, Ronnie Sullivan, Jackie Sullivan and Michael Sullivan, all of Fountain Inn; fourteen grandchildren, Tenika Ware, Kenyetta Beeks, Sean Beeks, Nicole Shaw, Elijah Shaw, Christopher Ware, Kristine Ware, Corey Ware, Atavia Ware, Johnny Ware, Jr., Lavera Ware, Jyson Ware, Joshua Pike and Khyran Davis; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
