Mrs. Minnie Belle “Boot” Elledge, 93, of Greenville, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on August 2, 2018, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Eugene Blassingame and the late Lydia Dickerson Manigo.
She was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Laurel Baye Healthcare (formerly Grady Hipp). She was a member of St. James Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodger Lee Elledge, two sons William Lee Elledge and Rodger Eugene Elledge, two sisters, Birdie Mae Boseman and Lois Gambrell; and six brothers, Ben Blassingame, Charles Blassingame, Homer Blassingame, John Curtis Blassingame, Sam Dickerson, and Willie Blassingame.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are her daughter, Elaine Elledge of Greenville, SC; two sons, James Curtis Elledge and Willie Andrew Elledge, both of Greenville, SC; one sister-in-law, Betty Blassingame of Maryland; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
