Minnie Lee

April 18, 1952 — April 13, 2018

Ms. Minnie Bell Lee was born on April 18, 1952, and departed this world on April 13, 2018. She was a daughter of the late Harvey and Sallie Mae Lee and was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ellen Jones; and three brothers, John Fitzgerald Lee, James Ernest Lee and Gary Austin Lee.

Minnie was educated in the public school system of Greenville County and graduated from Sterling High School in 1970. She received her nursing degree from Greenville Technical College and also attended Carver Bible College in Atlanta,Georgia. She began her career as a nurse at the former Greenville General Hospital. She left her position as a nurse to become a missionary working with various churches. She also taught bible classes in her home. She also worked at the Westend Nursing Home for many years. During her lifetime she accomplished many great things in the Name of the Lord.

Minnie Bell was a loving, caring and giving person to everyone in need, even during her sickness.

She will truly be missed by her three sisters, Gloria (Micky) Anderson of Greenville, Sallie (Leroy) Griffin of Piedmont and Carolyn Lee-Ugwo of Greenville; one brother, Harvey Lee, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
