Mr. Moses Henry “Kool-Aid” Andrews, Jr., 66, of 3 Dorr Drive, Greenville, South Carolina, departed this life on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at St. Francis Downtown. He was a son of the late Moses Leroy Andrews, Sr., and Lucy Ruth Gillespie Andrews.
He was educated in the Greenville County School System and was a graduate of Parker High School. He retired from J.P. Stevens Plant after twenty-five years of service. He was formerly employed at the City of Greenville and worked at Patewood Rehabilitation Center until his death. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was a member of Mt. Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife,Patricia Harris Andrews.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are his three sons, Joshua J. Andrews, Brian O. Andrews, and Courtney Harris, all of Greenville; three sisters, Mozelle Wells, Martha Andrews and Ruth Martin, all of Greenville; one brother, David Andrews of Greenville; one grandchild, Zavion A. Andrews; a special friend, Misty Dillard of Greenville; ex-companion of seventeen years, Patricia Henderson of Greenville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
